This beautiful Autumn quilt project from In The Beginning Fabrics is made with blocks using mostly Half Square Triangle and Flying Geese units. The outer border is made from the repeating border stripe and has mitered corners.

FABRIC: Reflections of Autumn II by Jason Yenter for In the Beginning Fabrics is an absolutely gorgeous Autumn collection featuring an array of florals, leaves and foliage in a beautiful color palette including shades of rust, orange, red, brown, gold and cream.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Reflections of Autumn II quilt pattern/instructions by In The Beginning Fabrics along with enough fabric to complete the double/full quilt top and edge binding as pictured. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.

The overall finished size of this quilt as pictured is 79" x 103".

This kit includes all the fabrics required for the quilt top and binding as shown in the first picture excluding the backing. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner (standard machine piecing)

The pattern recommends 7-3/4 yards of fabric (horizontal seams) for your backing assuming a 40" width along with an 87" x 111" piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. You can purchase coordinating fabric from the collection for your backing if you desire, and it will be shipped with your kit. NOTE: Most of the fabrics in this collection would work better for your backing by using a vertical seam. It is possible to create a vertical seamed backing with 6.25 yards of fabric, but you will only have about a 3" (+ or -) overhang on both sides of your quilt instead of the preferred 4".

Nearly 13 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the color pattern.
